This is a audio track that Moody Radio Chicago (90.1 FM) did that is "moving" beyond belief. It's called "Meet me in the stairwell." I listened to this as I drove in this morning and it had me in tears. I reflected on my own 9/11 memories and then how great and merciful my God is.

Growing Up....

My curfew was street lights. My parents didn't call my cell, they yelled my name. I played outside with friends, not online. If I didn't eat what mom cooked, then I didn't eat. Sanitizer didn't exist, but you COULD get your mouth washed out with soap. I rode a bike without a helmet. Getting dirty was ok, and neighbors cared as much as your parents did. Re-post if you drank from a garden hose and survived!

Macy’s Runs Ad in Miami Herald Congratulating Heat on NBA Title!?

They ran this ad this morning in the Miami Herald congratulating the Miami Heat on winning the 2011 NBA Championship!? Then again, maybe they stopped watching after the Wade, Bosh, James pre-season concert/celebration guaranteeing the title.

The Next Version of Windows?

Microsoft finally took the wraps off of the next version of Windows! This new version, Windows 8, is a huge departure from all previous versions. This version is taking it's cue from the new Windows Phone 7 by using tiles, live icons and more.

In the video below the OS seems really fast. The interesting thing will be if runs well on older machines. Hey...take a look at it for yourself.

While listening to EPSN Chicago Radio they announced the untimely death of one my childhood hero's "The Macho Man". I remember his rise to be the WWF Champion and most of all his in-ring marriage to Ms. Elizabeth. I'll be keeping his family in my prayers and I hope you do as well. Rest in piece Macho!

Watching this clip of then two-year old Bridger working an iPad effortlessly as if it was second nature to him gave me a pause. His dad Mike says that “his speech, understanding, word recognition, and even hand eye coordination have improved within just a short while.” Bridger often cracks a smile, his eyes lighting up with excitement when exploring the device. To me, this is why Apple’s winning – they own these toddlers. A new generation of kids are growing up as we speak with an iPad etched in their memory. For me and you, it was a SNES or probably old school plastic elephants, turtles and giraffes. For your kids, it’s a shiny, easy to use toy with wonderful apps that respond to touch.

It goes without saying that for many of the iPad-toting toddlers Apple’s iOS devices and Macs will be a natural fit as they enter childhood and teen years. It’s the Apple brainwash and it works like a charm. Apple gets them while they're young and rivals must be pulling their hair because they’re missing out on the entire generation of kids raised on Apple’s mobile gear and computers.

Since the iPad’s inception clips of toddlers working Apple’s gorgeous piece of aluminum and glass slab have become all the rage on YouTube. It’s almost like, forget dull kitten clips, here are the iPad toddlers. Can you imagine a 24-month old working a geeky Android slate like the Xoom or a messed up Chinese knockoff?
